We are S-Energy,
the 2025 STEM Racing National Champions representing Agrupamento de Escolas Padre Benjamim Salgado and Instituto Nun’Alvares, Portugal.
The world of STEM RACING
Where elite engineering meets creative marketing and strategic management on a global stage.
At its core, STEM Racing is a international competition that pushes students aged 9 to 19 to their absolute limits. It is the only multidisciplinary challenge of its kind, requiring teams to design, simulate, and manufacture high-performance miniature Formula 1 cars. These machines, powered by CO2 canisters, are engineered for pure speed, competing on a 20-metre track where victory is decided by mere milliseconds.
Our technical journey starts with industry-standard CAD/CAM software and CFD analysis to perfect aerodynamics. We bridge the gap between digital design and physical reality through CNC machining and 3D printing, optimizing every curve to minimize drag and ensure peak performance under race conditions.
Beyond the track, we operate as a professional racing organization. We build a unique brand identity, secure corporate sponsorships to fund our Research and Development, and manage complex budgets. Our strategic approach is documented in technical portfolios and showcased through professional presentations to a panel of industry experts.
